Hiyorimi Hiro recently moved to the city to see his sister. Since his parents' deaths, he and his sister Sawawa have remained estranged. Sawawa has a new job as the custodian of a frightening old home, and she has written Hiro a letter inviting him to come and reside with her. He saves a young woman dressed in Gothic garb from being crushed by construction beams while strolling down the street, but loses his own life in the process.
