Arika Yumemiya has gone far to achieve her goal: admission to the prestigious Gualderobe Academy. This is the school where young ladies are groomed to become Otomes, the bodyguards of the nations' royal ruler. Arika makes a lot of friends here, but some of her foes know something about her background that she does not. Nonetheless, her energy and determination will continue to propel her ahead. This series, adapted from its predecessor, Mai-HiME, is not a straight successor, but rather an alternate world scenario starring members of the Mai-HiME cast (though with different personalities).
