Mira Kinohata met Ao Manaka, a stargazing dreamer, in a crucial childhood meeting. Ao taught Mira the wonders of astronomy, from circling planets to faraway stars, despite the fact that their time together was limited. Before they separated, Mira discovered that there is a star with her name, but none with Ao's. As a result, she made a promise to Ao: one day, she would locate a new asteroid and name it after him. Mira is still captivated by astronomy years later. She seeks to join the Astronomy Club at Hoshizaki Academy, where she is now in high school. Unfortunately, she discovers that the group has combined with the Geology Club to become the Earth Sciences Club. She enters this new club and discovers a nice surprise: she is reunited with her ex-boyfriend.
